Cleaning Souls Over 7 Decades incorporates materials collected from the former Magdalene Laundry at High Park, Drumcondra, Dublin.

Fragments from the front gate and a windowsill were transferred onto canvas, preserving physical traces of a site marked by a history of institutional confinement.

Through the displacement and reconstruction of these materials, the work examines how memory and histories of oppression remain embedded within places long after their original function has ended.
